Behind the Race - La Vuelta / Second Week

The second week of the Vuelta was marked by challenging stages and a steady pace. The mountain stages and fast pace required consistency and adaptability, testing not only physical condition but also mental endurance.

Team Picnic PostNL faced some tough times, but the team remained united and focused. They faced each day with determination, aiming to reach the final stage of the race in the best possible way.

With the route traversing the spectacular mountains of the Basque Country , stage 14 saw an intense challenge on the final climbs, where riders had to cope with demanding gradients and difficult conditions .
