After a difficult year for cycling and beyond, Ursus is relaunching: this season too, our company will supply its products to several European professional riders.
ROAD CYCLING
The 2021 season will see Ursus wheels once again on the bikes of Team Total Direct Energie , the French team that last year gave us our historic first participation in the Tour de France. Terpstra and his teammates will set off from Altea, where their winter training camp is currently taking place.
The now historic relationship with Vini Zabù, led by the dynamic Citracca and Scinto, will also continue. After saying goodbye to captain Visconti, the sprinter Mareczko will return to the fold. The Italian-Polish rider will be an additional asset in the team's pursuit of some notable victories, including in the Giro d'Italia. A treat? In the new season, in addition to the wheels, we'll be able to admire another Ursus surprise on the Tuscan team's Corratec bikes.
Finally, Ursus's 2021 season kicks off with the addition of Caja Rural - Seguros RGA . The Spanish team will allow our brand to open a new channel on the Iberian Peninsula, completing the circuit of European Grand Tours with participation in the Vuelta.

OLYMPIC DREAM
After the forced postponement due to the global health emergency, 2021 will be the year of the Olympic Games. Our athlete Davide Uccellari was certain he would participate in the 2020 edition. With the postponement, it's not yet clear how the qualifications will be decided, but our Davide is in the running to represent Italy in the Olympic triathlon in Tokyo. Therefore, the first half of the year leading up to the Games will be the most important event for him in the last five years.
NOT JUST ASPHALT
Kodiak, Ursus' flagship MTB team, will compete in the XC circuit alongside Mauro Bettin's Torpado-Ursus team. The Italian team will launch several promising young XC talents into the sport, including Austrian Mario Bair, Danish rider Oliver Vedersø, and elite athlete Marcel Guerrini.
The cyclocross season, which saw Ursus win two pink jerseys in the Giro d'Italia, isn't over yet. Alongside Team Selle Italia Guerciotti Elite, our wheels crossed the finish line first with Jakob Dorigoni and Francesca Baroni, who also became the Italian U23 champion for the second consecutive year.
