ORION DISC, UN SET RUOTE “A TUTTO TONDO”

ORION DISC, AN “ALL-ROUND” WHEELSET

Designed for gravel enthusiasts and road bike enthusiasts, the Orion Disc will amaze you with its comfort and versatility. Let's take a look at this new offering from Ursus.

The latest addition to Ursus's lineup is sure to thrill. This aluminum rim for disc brakes offers truly hybrid performance. The Orion Disc is within every cyclist's reach, offering a real opportunity to become a new Ursus "Gladiator."

FROM ASPHALT TO GRAVEL, BREAK DOWN THE BARRIERS

These wheels roll fast on asphalt, but also perform brilliantly on Strade Bianche and mixed trails, a favorite among gravel enthusiasts. Off-road enthusiasts will also appreciate compatibility with Campagnolo's Ekar groupset, the new gravel standard. Does the road end and turn into a beaten path? With Orion, there are no more barriers; the fun can continue.

ORION DISC: VERSATILE, READY TO AMAZE

What makes it so versatile? Its wide rim is designed to provide stability, while the ultra-strong 25 mm rim absorbs small bumps and vibrations typical of rough surfaces. This means that the bike is easier to control, for example on rough asphalt or gravel. Ride comfort is superior, thanks also to the ability to fit a wide range of tires (tubeless-ready or clinchers between 26 and 46 mm). The right amount of rigidity, necessary for pushing hard, is ensured by the asymmetric shape designed to optimize rim tension by balancing the forces coming from the brakes and cassette.

These features also make Orion an ideal technical choice for intensive training and endurance rides with friends. There's no doubt about its reliability: this model also features all the "Made in Italy" quality of the new Ursus RD30 disc brake hubs, tested and certified by our pro-team cyclists after hundreds of hours of training sessions. The solid aluminum hub with flanges that accommodates 24 Sapim J-bend spokes shares its bigger brother , the RD50, with its exceptional performance in terms of grip and top-notch smoothness. IN CONCLUSION

We've seen how the Orion Disc can be defined as an "all-round" wheelset, dedicated to those new to the world of competitive cycling or those who face unpredictable riding conditions. We developed these wheels with the needs of those who don't yet own a pair of Ursus wheels in mind, creating (in our opinion) the perfect product for starting to pedal together.
