The race continues, but its skin changes. After the initial enthusiasm, the second week of the Giro d'Italia is one in which fatigue becomes silent, but more present than ever.
The legs give way, the voice drops, and a different rhythm grows around the group, denser, more authentic. It is here that Behind the Race finds its voice: in the precise gestures of the mechanics, in the smiles of the crowd, in the silent tension of the riders.
Behind every stage there is a world that does not reach the podium, but without which no feat would be possible.
This is Behind the Race .
