The race goes on, but it changes its skin. After the initial excitement, the second week of the Giro d’Italia is when fatigue becomes silent, yet more present than ever.
Legs begin to give out, voices grow quieter, and a different rhythm emerges around the peloton: denser, more authentic. This is where Behind the Race finds its voice: in the precise movements of the mechanics, in the smiles of the fans, in the silent tension of the riders.
Behind every stage lies a world that never steps onto the podium, yet without it, no achievement would be possible.

A special visit at Ursus headquarters! On the final rest day of the Giro, Monday, May 26th, Team Picnic PostNL visited the Ursus facility.
The riders and technical staff visited the Ursus production line, experiencing firsthand the company’s manufacturing expertise and attention to detail.
Led by Ursus CEO Mirko Ferronato, the athletes had the opportunity to explore the modern headquarters and connect with the company’s history and uniqueness.
